Hair Product Natural Characteristics

Full Remy human hair extensions are a natural product. There may be a two-tone pigment difference from the top to the bottom of the shade, which is more noticeable in darker shades. Colour fading is normal over time with washing, drying, and heat use. We accept no liability for colour fading or discoloration.

With multi-coloured hair, take extra care when washing for the first time to ensure colours do not mix with one another.

Quality and Damage

We cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from failure to follow maintenance schedules or from using non-recommended aftercare products. Issues must be reported within 21 days of purchase, and hair must be returned to the manufacturer within 7 days for testing. If, after testing, the hair is found not to be faulty, or damage has occurred due to incorrect aftercare, the hair will not be eligible for replacement or refund.

Service and Fitting

Your fitting includes cutting and blending of the extensions into your natural hair. One additional free cut is included; further cuts are charged at £20.

Products

Jenny Wren's Hair shampoo and conditioner are free from all harmful chemicals. Hair should not be washed for 2–3 days after application to allow bonds to set.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance should be carried out within a maximum of every 3 months.

Colouring

If you choose to colour your hair, the colour should be applied by a professional and carried out on test strands first. We accept no liability for damage to hair extensions due to colouring.

Swimming

We do not recommend swimming when wearing hair extensions. Seawater and chlorinated water may cause hair extensions to dry, matt, discolour, knot, and can weaken the bonding agents.

Brushing

Only use a hair extension brush on or near the extensions. Use downward strokes while holding bonds to prevent damage. When wet, only use a wide-tooth comb lightly on the extensions to separate the strands.

Washing

Wash 2–3 times per week with a recommended shampoo in warm water. Over-washing could lead to dryness and softening of the bonds. Conditioner should only be applied from mid-length to the ends — never apply conditioner to the bonds. When washing, do not tip your head over the bath as this could cause tangling.

Drying

Heat is your biggest enemy — only blow-dry hair on a cool setting. Never leave your roots wet or leave bonds in a constantly damp condition.

Styling

We advise using a good quality heat defence spray at all times when working with heat. Keep all heat away from the bonding agents, as heat may cause them to melt.

Sleeping

It is recommended that you tie your hair in a loose ponytail or plait before sleeping. Never go to bed with wet hair.

Environmental Factors

UV protection is recommended to preserve colour. Exercise caution regarding ferrum components in water when abroad.

Removal

Please ensure hair is removed by a qualified professional with the correct tools to prevent damage to your natural hair.
